The Splice cabinet collection makes craftsmanship tangible and emphasizes the process of manufacturing a piece of furniture. The design highlights seams and joints, focusing on the very details where individual parts come together to become something greater than the sum of their parts: a quality, handmade piece of furniture.

 

The cabinets are made from either solid oak or walnut and have an architectural, calm appearance. With their emphasized joints and seams, they almost look like design drawings of themselves, putting a focus on the craftsmanship behind them. One detail is especially highlighted – the slit between the cabinet doors. Here, a long strip of either marble or cast colorful glass is inserted, doubling as a door handle. This design detail and material combination gives the cabinet both a contemporary lightness as well as a timeless, luxurious elegance.

 

The Splice collection consists of three cabinet versions: a sideboard, a highboard, and a closet. All cabinets are available in different finishes, as well as with various door handle materials and colors. This allows for a wide variety of configurations, ranging from classic minimalism to luxurious elegance, or an avant-garde design statement.
